What is BotoxTM? Is it a toxin? Is it poisonous?

BotoxTM is a purified protein derivative that relaxes wrinkle-causing muscles, to create a smoothed, rejuvenated appearance.. It is a toxin only when it is consumed in very large doses.

How is BotoxTM administered? Is it painful?

BotoxTM is administered as small injections into the wrinkle forming muscle thus relaxing it. The pain is bearable as compared to the dramatic results produced.

When will BotoxTM start to work?

Within days, you will see a marked improvement in your frown lines, which may continue to improve for up to two weeks.

Is the effect of BotoxTM permanent?

No. The effect lasts for 4-6 months. You have to take repeat injections.

How long will BotoxTM treatment take?

The entire treatment only takes 10-15 minutes. There is no down time and you can go straight back to work.  BotoxTM needs to be administered by a specially trained doctor, who can determine exactly where to administer several tiny injections to achieve the best results for you.

Will my lines look worse if I choose not to continue treatments?

No, Your lines will gradually revert to their pre-treatment appearance. This may take 4 to 6 months, but if left untreated the returning lines are always lesser in number.
